This market resolves YES if France is officially declared the winner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup by FIFA, or if credible reporting consensus confirms France as champion. The resolution source is the official FIFA announcement or statement declaring the tournament winner. A credible reporting consensus from major international sports outlets (ESPN, BBC Sport, Sky Sports, Reuters, AP) may also be used if official FIFA confirmation is delayed. The market resolves NO if France is eliminated at any stage of the tournament before the final, or if any other team is declared champion. The tournament final is scheduled for July 19, 2026 at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. Resolution occurs immediately upon France's elimination or upon official declaration of the World Cup winner.
