This market will resolve to "Yes" if a Canadian team is officially declared the Stanley Cup champion for the 2026–27 NHL season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". For the purposes of this market, a Canadian team is an NHL team based in Canada. The Canadian NHL teams are the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and Winnipeg Jets. If multiple teams are officially declared champions, this market will resolve to "Yes" if any of those champions is a Canadian team. If none of the declared champions are Canadian teams, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026–27 NHL season is canceled, postponed beyond June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a Stanley Cup champion has not been officially declared by that time, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official information published by the NHL. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used if necessary.
